Living the Teachings
For Module 2: Central Channel
Engage these lived practices as you learn to show up more fully as who you came here to be, and to act with clarity, responsibility, and coherence in everyday life.
Continue practicing with curiosity
As you go about your day, and as you move through qigong, the visualizations, or moments of resistance, practice greeting your experience with compassion and curiosity. For example, if you notice fear, judgment, confusion, or emotional reaction when you orient to the Above, try saying, “isn’t it interesting that this is what comes up for me.” The practice is to stay in relationship with what arises without collapsing into stories like “I’m not good at this,” “this is wrong,” or “I should already know how to do this.” Let the experience be there without making it mean something negative about you.
Continue practicing qigong
Make time for qigong regularly so you can cultivate qi and prepare your system for the visualization work. The qigong video for this module is part of how you build the energetic strength and flexibility to connect to the Above without losing your grounding. Treat it as an essential part of the work, not an optional warmup.
Practice the central channel visualization
This is how you cultivate your connection to the Above. Let the work of connecting upward become familiar over time, so the Above becomes something you can relate to viscerally rather than only conceptually. This practice helps build the energy habit of staying connected to both the Above and Below.
Practice the truth cord
Use the visualization regularly and practice bringing things to your truth cord so you can become increasingly familiar with its resonance. The more you return to it, the more quickly you can recognize when something feels aligned with truth. This is how you build your relationship to and trust in your truth cord.
Bring your choices, words, and actions into alignment with truth
Practice aligning how you live with what your truth cord tells you is true. This means making choices, speaking words, and taking actions that support honesty rather than distortion. This is another important way to develop a strong relationship with your truth cord.
Practice speaking the truth artfully
Practice telling the truth artfully, with right timing, right context, and right audience. Artful truth-telling means paying attention to how your truth can actually be received by the person you are speaking to, instead of using truth as a way to dominate, defend yourself, or prove that you are more right or moral than someone else. It is truthful communication delivered with skill so it can land in relationship.
Continue seeking answers from your practice
Bring your questions into your practice and see what answers arise through just doing it. If nothing comes, that’s fine. You can bring your questions back to our next session. But often the practice itself opens an answer that is unique and specific to you. Trust your felt sense.
