Visualization for Turning Off Your Analyzer

Begin with Qigong

Always begin your daily practice with qigong to stir your energy and move yourself out of your ordinary everyday energetic state into a new experience — one where you can feel yourself as a tiny little energy body connected to a great big energy body, with a sense of deep connection and wholeness. From there, you can direct your now-moving energy into the visualization. This helps the felt-sense part of the visualization feel more alive, and it helps the understanding that arises move out of the head and into form so it can support real change in daily life.

General Tips

Remember that you do not have to visualize in only one way. You can imagine, sense, feel, hear, or see. Use any or all of your available senses. Don’t worry if you are making anything up. Just let your imagination support the visualization as fully as possible in this moment.

Tips for This Visualization - Turning off Your Analyzer

In this practice we begin to explore our seven energy centers as spaces in our inner landscape that we can step into as our mini-me to explore. Then we put all the pieces together that we’ve cultivated so far: our grounding cord, our central channel and connection to the Above, our truth cord, our boundaries, and our seven energy centers. And we feel into all thee components as one living ecosystem — your complete energy body. Then we explore how to turn off the Analyzer so that you can begin to explore your inner landscape with your other senses, which are more useful for this kind of work.

For this practice, it’s useful to have a visual image of the bridge of the Starship Enterprise. If you’re unfamiliar with this imagery, this Star Trek visual may be useful: link

The other thing to be familiar with is the energetic structure of the Analyzer. Energetically, your Analyzer comes out of our head, and folds down over our third eye so that we stay in analyzing mode. When we’re working with our intuitive awareness, we don’t want things blocking our spirit sight. We turn off the Analyzer to get it to fold back up into the head and put itself away.

Visualization Steps

The same visualization, but broken down into the essential steps. Use this as a reference when you want to start practicing doing the visualization without the recording.

Begin with your qigong to stir the energy that you intend to work with. Then sit for your visualization for grounding, connecting with the Highest Power, running these energies through your Central Channel, tuning your Truth Cord to the Truth, scanning your boundaries, and weaving a gold and silver tapestry around your boundaries. Then begin this visualization:

  • Notice your seven energy centers stacked up along your truth cord as seven spinning balls of light with an opening to the front and back, and the top and the bottom.

  • Starting as your mini-me in your root, begin to experience each energy center as an actual space that your mini-me could step into and explore. Repeat for each energy center.

  • Bring your mini-me into your head energy center.

  • Find the control panel and the viewing screen at the front of your head energy center, where your eyes, nose, and mouth are.

  • Find the control for your Analyzer, and turn your Analyzer off. Sense what that feels like.

  • You may have to turn it off more than once if your Analyzer is very in the habit of being on and useful in your everyday life. Remember that it’s an important part of us, but not helpful for inner landscape exploration.

  • Experiment turning your Analyzer on again and off again and noticing the difference in how things feel when it’s on versus off.
